school's alright. So.. I think I sorta have my future figured out? IU really does seem good. I'll study either photography or Computer graphics (or both). Maybe. That'll probably change by next week.
I have a prom date. I need to make my dress. I need to not make rachil's dress.
Speech is ending soon. Two more meets and I'm done.
Computer graphics is fun. I'm not really trying to make art. Just make interesting images.

Ken returns to Barbie

Mattel's Ken and Barbie broke up a couple of years ago and although Mattel tried to make the break up a 'story', Barbie moved on to Blaine. The break up was really more about slumping sales than irreconcilable differences. Since they're, uhm, just dolls.
I personally knew Barbie and Blaine would never work. Remember Pretty in Pink? "His name is Blaine? Oh! That's a major appliance, that's not a name!"
Back in October reports came that Ken was getting a makeover and might come back on the scene. Voila here he is. The new Ken will be revealed at a Manhattan news conference today and he'll be different: "sporting a more rugged jaw line, wearing cargo pants and listening to Norah Jones." He has a motorcycle now, dabbles in Buddhism and he cooks.

I am just starting to really not like school. I only really go because I have to. Years past I'd do it because I was excited to learn things (yes I am lame). Now its going to not fail. Its doing (or pretending to do) work just for the grade. The only class that excites me is Advanced Photography. and that's at the beginning of the day.
I don't even care about the people anymore.

I felt so much better at both the concerts I went to this week. Spending time with people whom I care about. Hearing good music live.
All I want is for it to be May.
